At exactly 9:00 PM on April 30, 2025, residents of Ho Chi Minh City were treated to a spectacular light show as fireworks lit up the night sky from 30 different locations across the city, marking the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.
On the morning of 27 April 2025, along Le Duan Boulevard, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, the Central Steering Committee for the Commemoration of Major National Holidays and Important Historical Events during 2023–2025 held the full-dress rehearsal for the parade celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975–2025). From early morning, large crowds gathered along surrounding streets to watch the forces joining rehearsal activities.
