Adani Group, one of the leading firms in India, has proposed an investment of 2 billion USD in Lien Chieu Port in Da Nang to help perfect the logistics ecosystem in the city and the central region of Vietnam.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on December 22 received Gautam Adani, Chairman of India's major infrastructure conglomerate Adani Group which is currently exploring an investment of around 10 billion USD in Vietnam over the next decade.

The Indian-based conglomerate Adani Group is working on a seaport investment project in Vietnam with an investment of about 2 billion USD, unveiled CEO of its Adani Ports and SEZ Limited (APSEZ) Karan Adani at a meeting with Vietnamese Minister of Transport Nguyen Van Thang in Hanoi on May 24.

Saurin Dilipbhai Shah, Chairman of Adani Group, will be Vietnam’s Honorary Consul in India’s Gujarat state for a three-year term.

A joint venture between India’s Adani Group and Vietnam’s Anh Phat Investment Construction & Trading JSC has been approved by authorities of Da Nang to start studying the development of a major seaport in the central city, according to Nhan dan (People) newspaper.
