Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung, who is accompanying Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on an official visit to the Republic of Korea (RoK), has had a working session with the Vietnam Innovation Network in Korea (VINK).

The first AI training, research centre in the Tay Nguyen Central Highlands has been opened at the Da Lat University in Lam Dong province.

Vietnam, like many other countries, is in a bid to spur economic innovation with Artificial Intelligence (AI), but experts said the country is starting from at a low point and needs to make a huge effort to catch up with the global trend.
