The Argentine Chamber of Deputies and the ASEAN Committee in Buenos Aires co-hosted a seminar aimed at strengthening parliamentary cooperation between Argentina and ASEAN. The event was initiated by the Vietnamese Embassy, which currently holds the committee’s rotating chairmanship.

In 2023, trade turnover between Argentina and ASEAN exceeded 9 billion USD, with Argentina recording a surplus of 945 million USD.

The Argentina-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarians’ Group made its debut at the Argentine Chamber of Deputies’ headquarters in Buenos Aires on February 7.
