Thailand will accelerate negotiations to finalise the ASEAN Digital Economy Framework Agreement (DEFA) by the end of 2025, in a bid to promote ASEAN as a digital hub in the Asia-Pacific region.

Cooperation in digital technology between Russia and ASEAN is promising, said Russian Deputy Minister for Digital Development, Communications and Telecommunications Alexey Volin at the Valdai discussion club in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on November 22.

Singapore, as the rotary chairman of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), plans to speed up ASEAN’s economic recovery from advanced technologies to make the region more competitive.
