Belgium workshop spotlights business opportunities in Vietnam

The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) and relevant ministries and sectors of Vietnam are ready to work with the Belgian side to effectively support cooperation activities between the two countries’ enterprises, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien told a bilateral business forum in Brussels on December 1.

Belgian enterprises expressed their interest in Vietnam’s economic prospects and business cooperation opportunities in the Southeast Asian country at a talk held in Brussels on April 22.

Hanoi stands ready to support the Belgian Embassy and enterprises to continue with cooperation, investment and technological transfer in the capital city, bringing interests to both sides, said Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung.

Vietnam’s economic and trade development as well as the country’s advantages in attracting investment were introduced to Belgian enterprises at a conference in Belgium’s southern Mons city on May 10.
