The Centre of Overseas Labour under the Vietnamese Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs and the Osaka Long-Term Medical Care Federation signed an apprentice supply contract for hospital orderlies in Japan at a ceremony in Hanoi on June 12.

Skilled workers with state-recognised vocational qualification in the fields of information technology, electrical/electronic engineering, culinary or restaurant and hotel, will have the opportunity to work in Germany under the programme “Hand in Hand for International Talents”.

The Centre of Overseas Labour under the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs has announced that the Republic of Korea will automatically offer a 50-day extension for Vietnamese labourers whose contracts have expired.

The Centre of Overseas Labour has decided to launch an online Korean language test for Vietnamese workers to be sent to the Republic of Korea (RoK) as part of the Employment Permit System (EPS) programme.
