Female writer Ly Lan was awarded the grand prize “Hiep si De Men” (Cricket Knight) at a presentation ceremony for the 5th "De Men (Cricket) Awards for Children" in Hanoi on May 29.

The HansaeYes24 Foundation will give 9,600 copies of children’s books to primary schools in central Da Nang city under its annual book donation programme to celebrate Vietnam Book Day (April 21).

The Vietnamese version of a series comprised of three children’s books penned by famous Chilean author Roberto Fuentes is slated to be introduced to the public during a ceremony held in Hanoi by the Vietnam Education Publishing House on December 15.

Sketches and photos of Hanoi by French author-illustrator Jean-Charles Sarrazin from 1987 and 1988 are on display in Hanoi, accompanied by the originals of his three books recently translated into Vietnamese.
