The Cau (Bridge) Pagoda, a historic landmark in the ancient town of Hoi An, a UNESCO-recognised heritage in the central province of Quang Nam, has reopened to visitors following a 19-month closure for restoration.

The Hoi An People’s Committee in the central province of Quang Nam on December 28 started work to restore Cau (Bridge) Pagoda - an iconic tourist attraction of the ancient city.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has sent a document to the People’s Committee of Quang Nam province on the appraisal of a project to renovate the Chua Cau relic in Hoi An ancient town.
