For the Co Tu ethnic group in mountainous districts of the central province of Quang Nam, the Guul is regarded as a sacred house, integral to their cultural, social, and spiritual life. The Guul is not only unique in its architecture, but also serves as a venue for important community activities, including gong festivals, traditional singing and dancing, and village elders’ meetings.
Ri Rung flowers are typical of the Co Tu ethnic minority people in Hoa Phu commune in Da Nang city’s Hoa Vang district. The yellow flowers are now in full bloom along streams, enchanting local people and visitors.
The long communal house “Guol”, traditional to the Co Tu ethnic group in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue, was inaugurated in Aka village, Thuong Quang commune, Nam Dong district on August 22.
