The Vietnam Border Guard High Command and the National Immigration Administration of China on August 12 held talks over the implementation of an agreement regarding land border management.

Public security forces of Vietnam and Laos will intensify their cooperation in crime combat, especially drug, smuggling and cyber crimes, as agreed by the two ministers of public security in Vientiane on July 11.

Vietnam and Cambodia have always closely cooperation in border management and protection, maintaining security and order, and crime combat in the border area, Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Pham Thu Hang said on July 3.

Minister of Public Security General To Lam suggested Vietnam and Australia enhance cooperation in all spheres, including national defence and security, at a reception for Australian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister for Women Marise Payne in Hanoi on November 9.

Vietnamese and Chinese competent agencies will strengthen cooperation in crime combat, and push ahead with the signing of an agreement on the transfer of sentenced persons.

Police of the Republic of Korea (RoK)’s Daejeon city will regularly exchange information with their colleagues in Vietnam’s southern Binh Duong province about such issues as crime combat, especially high-tech crimes, chief of Daejeon police Hwang Un-ha has said.
