Founded in 2011 by Professor Nguyen Duc Khuong, AVSE Global seeks to mobilise Vietnamese scientists and experts in France and beyond to contribute to the nation’s socio-economic development. The organisation now has 88 core members, primarily young scientists born in Vietnam and currently living and working overseas.

Kaja Kallas, Vice President of the European Commission (EC) and High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the European Union (EU) affirmed that Vietnam is one of the EU's key partners in Asia-Pacific and expressed a strong wish to elevate the relationship to a comprehensive strategic partnership in the near future.

It aims to contribute to enhancing the capacity of Lao and Cambodian officials in performing their duties and responsibilities; and increasing the effectiveness of cooperation on ethnic affairs between the two countries and Vietnam; as well as promoting their friendship and all-round collaboration.

The industry and trade sector should exert efforts to speed up the implementation of the revised Electricity Law and the policy on restarting the Ninh Thuan nuclear power project in the south-central province of the same name, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son has said.
