Dozens of journalists from various media agencies joined a training workshop to improve communication skills to help prevent child drowning.

A campaign to encourage the community to practice swimming for drowning prevention will be launched on May 19 at the culture, information and sports centre of Hanoi’s Long Bien district, according to the organising board.

The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu recently carried out a programme on swimming safety and drowning prevention for the 2018-2020 period.
