The official visit to Russia by National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man aims to concretise the Joint Statement on deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership, on the back of the 30-year achievements of the Treaty on Principles of Friendly Relations between Vietnam and Russia, NA Secretary General and Chairman of the NA Office Bui Van Cuong told the press.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc met Chairwoman of the Federation Council (upper house) of the Federal Assembly of Russia Valentina Ivanovna Matviyenko in Moscow on May 23 as part of his official visit to the country.
