The Ministry of Finance has asked the Government to extend farming land use tax exemption to attract more investment into the agricultural sector.

Amid the strong growth of the fisheries sector, the preservation and restoration of fisheries resources and the protection of biodiversity have become a focus of the sector and coastal localities towards developing a sustainable, modern and responsible fisheries sector.

Vietnam raked in 30.05 billion USD from exporting agro-forestry-aquatic products in the first three quarters of 2020 and the value is hoped to hit over 40 billion USD for the whole year, said Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Phung Duc Tien.

Kien Giang province has gained initial encouraging outcomes in recovering and developing its coastal protection forests amid coastal erosion and climate change worsening across the Mekong Delta region.
