Bulgarian President’s visit to deepen ties with Vietnam: Ambassador

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh received representatives from the Romania – Vietnam Friendship Association and friendship organisations with Vietnam in Bucharest on January 21 (local time) as part of his official to the European country.

Minister of Science and Technology Huynh Thanh Dat had a meeting with Cuban Deputy Prime Minister Ines Maria Chapman Waughn, and a discussion with Minister of Science, Technology and Environment of Cuba Elba Roza Perez Montolla, on April 21 (local time), on the occasion of NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue’s official visit to the Latin American nation.

Vietnam and Italy are celebrating 50 years of diplomatic relations this year (March 23, 1973 - 2023). In assessing bilateral relations, academics in Italy were positive in their comments.

Lao Party General Secretary and State President Thongloun Sisoulith on June 29 hosted a reception for President of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee Do Van Chien and leaders of the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association, and the Liaison Committee for former Vietnamese Volunteer Soldiers and Military Experts in Laos.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Ngo Duc Manh had a meeting with representatives of social organisations and friendship associations at the Vietnamese Embassy on February 6 to seek to bolster the friendship between the two countries.
