While most volcanoes in Vietnam have long been dormant, the awe-inspiring landscapes they have left behind continue to captivate visitors, particularly in the Central Highlands and South Central regions.
Sa Pa district in the mountainous province of Lao Cai welcomed a record of close to 81,000 visitors during the five-day national holiday from April 27 to May 1, up 18 percent from the same period last year.
