The Transport Ministry of Thailand is cooperating with its Malaysian partner to develop a high-speed railway system connecting four members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
Due to Vietnam’s natural features and geography, the development of a high-speed railway is imperative and any delays will hinder socio-economic growth, Chairman of Vietnam Railways Vu Anh Minh has said.
Thailand plans to revive a railway line that has been disused for more than 20 years between it and Malaysia to increase connectivity between the two countries.
