Though the 2023 EU Annual Report on Human Rights and Democracy in the World reflected some achievements and progress Vietnam has made in protecting human rights, it continued to put forth a number of unobjective comments, Spokeswoman of the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pham Thu Hang said on June 6.

The UPR working group of the UN Human Rights Council adopted a preliminary report on the third review of Vietnam at a session at the UN headquarters in Geneva on January 25.

The Vietnam-EU Free Trade Agreement is an important deal which brings many benefits to the people as well as the business community of Vietnam and the EU, therefore the two sides are making efforts to complete procedures for the official signing, ratification and enforcement of the agreement.
