National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man hosted a reception in Hanoi on July 9 for leaders of national audit institutions and international organisations attending a ceremony marking the 30th founding anniversary of the State Audit Office of Vietnam (SAV).
A delegation of the State Audit Office of Vietnam (SAV) led by Deputy Auditor General Nguyen Tuan Anh attended the 26th symposium co-organised by the United Nations (UN) and the International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) in Vienna, Austria, as part of their working trip from April 15-21.
The Asian Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI), founded in 1979, pursues a common mission like other working groups of the International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI), that is “Professional supreme audit institutions promote good State governance” and with the core values of “Professionalism, Cooperation, Equality, Creativity”.
The teleconferenced 55th meeting of the Governing Board of the Asian Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI), chaired by the State Audit Office of Vietnam (SAV), has ended with success with many important issues handled.
A delegation from the State Audit Office of Vietnam led by Auditor General Ho Duc Phoc had a working session with President of the Court of Audit of Belgium Philippe Roland in Brussels on February 26.

With the hosting of the 14th Assembly of the Asian Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI) this September, the State Audit of Vietnam (SAV) will become Chairman of ASOSAI for 2018-2021, which is set to bring both opportunities and challenges to a young agency like the SAV.
