Deputy Director of the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC)’s Authority of Foreign Information Service Dinh Tien Dung said in Vietnam, all citizens are free to share information, give comments and express their own opinions through the Internet, especially social networks.

Freedom of the press and opinions and the use of social networks in Vietnam are in line with the development of the world and the region as well as the development of the country in recent times.

The website freedomhouse.org recently posted the Freedom in the World 2018 report, which maintained biased views and misleading assessments, despite many countries’ opposition.

Internet freedom in Vietnam is an irrefutable truth, or in other words, Vietnam is an Internet-friendly country.
