The Party Central Committee's Commission for Information and Education in collaboration with the Quang Nam provincial Party Committee organised a conference in Tam Ky city on October 16 to discuss measures to strengthen the land border management between Vietnam and Laos.

The Vietnam Border Guard High Command and the National Immigration Administration of China on August 12 held talks over the implementation of an agreement regarding land border management.

Delegations of Vietnam’s Thu Lum, Ma Lu Thang Border Gate, Si Lo Lau and Y Ty border posts and China’s Jin Shuihe border exit and entry checkpoint held talks on August 1 in the northern mountainous province of Lai Chau to exchange professional knowledge in the second quarter of 2024.
