The National Archives Centre III on December 3 released a treasure trove of 150 documents that offer an insight into the glorious history of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) as part of the activities to mark the army’s 80th founding anniversary.

Nearly 200 archive original documents and images about Hanoi’s Liberation Day on October 10, 1954 were introduced at an event held in Hanoi on September 24 on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the day.

An exhibition reminiscent of the victory over the aerial bombing conducted by US forces against the north of Vietnam in December 50 years ago is underway in the capital city of Hanoi.

The National Archives Centre III under the Ministry of Home Affairs’ State Records and Archives Department has received 111 photos of legendary General Vo Nguyen Giap.
