President Vo Van Thuong on February 18 offered incense and attended the Lunar New Year pen-brush opening ceremony at a memorial area dedicated to national hero and world cultural eminent personality Nguyen Trai in Nhi Khe commune in Hanoi’s outlying district of Thuong Tin.
The special national relic site Con Son – Kiep Bac in Chi Linh city, the northern province of Hai Duong, welcomed about 120,000 visitors from September 13 to 18 during its autumn festival, up about 40 percent year on year.
A ceremony to commemorate the 574th death anniversary of Nguyen Trai, a national hero and a world cultural celebrity, was held in Chi Linh town of northern Hai Duong province on September 16.
The annual fall festival, which attracted more than 50,000 tourists last year , will run in northern Hai Duong province’s Con Son – Kiep Bac relic site from September 22 through October 2.
