The 19th General Assembly of the Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA) took place in Saint Petersburg, Russia, on June 18-21. The participation of the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) delegation led by General Director Vu Viet Trang has left deep impression on the participants.

The Vietnam News Agency (VNA) is one of the most active members in modernising the website of the Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA), and is an example to other agencies, according to President of the organization Aslan Aslanov.
