The Party leader laid stress on the complementary strengths of An Giang’s advanced agricultural production and Kien Giang’s advantages in maritime economy, tourism, renewable energy, and port services. He envisaged the mergence as the foundation for a dynamic “mountain – plain – border – sea” development corridor that combines border and maritime economies.
The preparation of personnel for the Party congresses should adhere to established standards, prioritising individuals with integrity, strong political will, and a genuine commitment to the common good, said Prof. Tran Tuan Anh, Vice President of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.
The Politburo held a national cadres’ conference in Hanoi on November 19 to review the organisation of Party congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 tenure.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on October 2 called for greater efforts in the last three months of 2019 to complete the yearly targets, thus creating the premise for 2020 when Party congresses at all levels will be organised, towards the 13th National Party Congress.
