No wrongdoings or misconducts are allowed to occur at any stage of the upcoming high school graduation exam, in order to build a civilised, modern, humane, and high-quality education system, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasised on June 18.
Chairing a national conference on the organisation of the examination on June 18, the PM highlighted the historical significance of the examination, as the restructuring of provincial-level administrative units is underway and the two-tier local administration model is set to officially begin operations on July 1.
The resolutions issued by the PM as well as ministries and ministry-level agencies reassign responsibility for 346 administrative procedures - 18 from district to provincial levels, 278 to commune level, and 50 eliminated.
The PM underlined that the current reform “revolution” requires a shift in mindset, habits, and approaches from passively responding to citizens’ needs to proactively meeting them.

As part of his official visit to Sweden, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh held talks with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson in Stockholm on the morning of June 13 (local time).
Following his official visit to the Republic of Estonia and activities in France, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his Spouse, together with a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, paid an official visit to the Kingdom of Sweden on June 12-13, at the invitation of Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson. This was the first visit by a Vietnamese Prime Minister to Sweden in six years, aiming to further deepen the relationship between the two countries.
When it comes to Sweden, Vietnamese people think of PM Olof Palme whose name is associated with protests against the war in Vietnam from the 1960s until Vietnam's reunification in 1975.
