Hanoi ranked first among 63 provinces and centrally-run cities in the Provincial Innovation Index (PII) 2024, released by the Ministry of Science and Technology on December 30.

The Department of Science and Technology of the southernmost province of Ca Mau, in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Technology (MST)’s Vietnam Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (VISTI) organised a conference on October 16 to discuss solutions to improve the Provincial Innovation Index (PII).

Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hai Phong City top the 63 provinces and centrally-run cities in the Provincial Innovation Index 2023 rankings released by the Ministry of Science and Technology.

The Ministry of Science and Technology (MST) on March 12 released the Provincial Innovation Index (PII) 2023, the first of its kind so far.
