Ibu volcano in eastern Indonesia erupted on May 13, throwing ash up to 5km above its peak, local media reported.

Ten Vietnamese students studying in Central Sulawesi, which was hard-hit by deadly earthquakes and tsunami, left Jakarta for Vietnam on October 6.

Indonesia has freshly been hit by a volcanic eruption and a quake, causing local concerns and temporary airport closure.
