A monument to the Vietnamese volunteer soldiers participating in the defence of Moscow in the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) was unveiled at Patriot Park in the suburb of the Russian capital on August 12.

The General Department of Politics under the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) and the Main Directorate for Political-Military Affairs of the Russian Armed Forces will enhance cooperation in such priority areas such as political and ideological education.
