Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man met with Singaporean President Tharman Shanmugaratnam on December 3 as part of his official visit to the city-state.

The State visit to Vietnam from October 16 to 20 by Singaporean President Halimah Yacob aims to elevate bilateral relations and further intensify the strategic partnership between the two countries, according to Vietnamese Ambassador Mai Phuoc Dung.

Vietnamese President Nguyen Xuan Phuc will make a state visit to Singapore this week at the invitation of President Halimah Yacob, Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) said in a statement on February 22.

President Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his wife will lead a high-ranking delegation of Vietnam to pay a State visit to Singapore from February 24-26.

President of Singapore Tony Tan Keng Yam started his four-day State visits to Cambodia on January 8, at the invitation of King Norodom Sihamoni.

Egyptian President Abdel Fatah El-Sisi and his Singaporean counterpart Tony Tan Keng Yam held talks in Cairo on October 31 to discuss measures to promote bilateral cooperation in economy and trade.

President Tran Dai Quang arrived in Hanoi on late August 30, wrapping up his State visits to Brunei and Singapore from August 26 – 30.
