With a strong industrial base, Binh Duong aims to develop logistics services as a foundation for foreign investment, regional connectivity, and international economic integration, becoming a logistics hub for the Southern key economic zone.
Under Decision No. 370/QD-TTg issued by the Prime Minister on May 4, 2024, the Southeast Region will be developed in to a civilized, modern, and dynamic area, becoming a hub not only in Vietnam but also in Southeast Asia in terms of economy, finance, education, training, science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
A series of large inter-regional transport projects have been launched in the southeast region in 2023 to form a completed and uniform transport network meeting the region's development needs, creating new driving forces for the region’s economic growth.
The Southeast region, with its role as an economic locomotive of the country, has accelerated the implementation of green economic development plans and strategies. The aim is to promote economic restructuring associated with changing growth models and integrating green growth into the socio-economic development plan.
Located in the Southeast region, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province is working to full tap its natural advantages and defining clear priorities to attract investment, contributing to turning the southeast into a dynamic region with highest growth rate and the biggest growth driver of the country.
Resolution 24-NQ/TW of the Politburo on socio-economic development and defence-security ensuring in the Southeast region to 2030 with a vision to 2045 has opened up new development opportunities for localities in the region, including Ba Ria – Vung Tau province.
Travel linkages between regions in the country are vital to realise the tourism potential of localities and contribute to efforts to rejuvenate the tourism industry, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam has said.
