Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh held working sessions with leading Swedish corporations, including Ericsson, H&M, SYRE, and AstraZeneca in Stockholm on June 13 to foster their investment and cooperation with Vietnam, as part of his official visit to Sweden.

In the spirit of harmonious benefits and shared risks, the Vietnamese Government always accompany, support, and create favourable conditions for the business community in general and foreign investors, particularly Swedish enterprises, to achieve successful, sustainable, and long-term investments in Vietnam.

Vietnam and Hanoi in particular always treasure the bilateral relations with Sweden, which are based on trust and sincerity and serve as a solid foundation for the two nations to foster the cooperation in the time to come, Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung has said.

A delegation of leading Swedish firms in mining, finance-banking, hi-tech, construction, transport and logistics is on a visit to Ho Chi Minh City to seek investment opportunities in the southern economic hub.

The Vietnamese Government will continue creating favourable conditions for Swedish firms, including those from Ostergotland region, to do stable and long-term business in Vietnam.

Leading Swedish companies including Ericsson, ABB, and EP joined a press conference in Hanoi on December 8 to introduce their strengths, aiming to seek cooperation with Vietnamese partners.
