Hundreds of experts, investors and representatives from investment funds and start-up support organisations of Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) gathered at the festival for innovative startups (TECHFEST) in Seoul on April 13.

The startup culture in Vietnam has taken off in recent years, with foreign venture capital now five times higher than that by domestic players. Thus, it is important to note that international cooperation is crucial to bolstering startup innovation in the country.
The innovation and start-up festival Techfest wrapped up in Hanoi on November 15 with 29 investments worth more than 4.5 million USD committed for startups and 170 investment and business connections, according to Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Tran Van Tung.
