Tra Que vegetable village in the ancient town of Hoi An, Quang Nam province, is the sole representative from Vietnam that has entered the list of the world’s 55 best tourism villages in 2024, voted by the United Nations World Tourism Organization's (UNWTO).

Developing traditional craft villages in conjunction with tourism is considered a sustainable approach, that not only preserves these trades but also attracts tourists. One of the successful craft village tourism models, that has a special appeal to international visitors, is the Tra Que vegetable village in Hoi An, central Quang Nam province.
