Lang Son Geopark has just been honoured with the UNESCO Certificate recognising it as a UNESCO Global Geopark, marking a significant milestone in the journey to preserve and promote the natural and cultural values of the northern province of Lang Son.

The recent recognition of the Lang Son as a UNESCO Global Geopark is expected to help the northern province gain momentum and mobilise resources for enhancing the management, preservation, and promotion of the geopark, along with its biodiversity, historical and cultural values, and scenic landscapes.

A sound exhibition house was inaugurated in the Central Highlands province of Dak Nong’s Gia Nghia town on July 31, as part of the local geo-park’s tourist destination system.

Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark in the northern border province of Cao Bang was recognised as a global geopark by the UNESCO Global Geoparks Council in Paris on April 12.
