General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and State President To Lam, paid a visit to the United States from September 21-25 (local time) for the United Nations Summit of the Future and the 79th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 79), and working sessions in the US.
President Truong Tan Sang’s recent participation in the UN Summit and his official visit to Cuba demonstrate clearly Vietnam as an active, trustful partner and responsible member in global affairs.
President Truong Tan Sang will attend the United Nations Summit for the adoption of the 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development and related events in New York, the US, from September 24-28.
