The second annual Vietnam-Australia Forum, themed “Enhancing Economic Engagement, a Shared Vision for Prosperity”, took place in Hanoi on August 26.

Politburo member and Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) Nguyen Xuan Thang has asked the new Australian Ambassador to Vietnam, Andrew Goledzinowski, to continue promoting the cooperation between the HCMA and Australian partners, including the Australian Embassy in Vietnam, during his tenure.

President Nguyen Xuan Phuc on September 19 hosted separate receptions in Hanoi for Ambassadors of the Netherlands, Hungary, Australia and Luxembourg as they came to present their credentials.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) and visiting Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs Penny Wong jointly pressed the button to inaugurate a portal of the Vietnam-Australia Centre (VAC) on June 27.
