PM Pham Minh Chinh thanked President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and the Brazilian Government for recognising Vietnam’s market economy status, which will facilitate the access of their countries’ businesses to each other’s markets in a fair and mutually beneficial manner.

During his trip to Brazil from November 16-19 for the G20 Summit and bilateral engagements, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh held talks with Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. The two leaders agreed to elevate the Vietnam-Brazil bilateral relations to a Strategic Partnership and issue a joint statement on the upgrade of the ties.
