PM Pham Minh Chinh said he hopes that the Chinese Ministry of Veterans Affairs will bolster cooperation with Vietnamese agencies to raise public awareness of the traditional friendship between the two countries.

Participants in the special gathering in Hanoi, including past and present students who have learned in the two countries, reflected on their experiences and the long-standing friendship between Vietnam and China.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh received Tang Liangzhi, Mayor of Chongqing province (China), in Hanoi on August 31.
