The Vietnamese and Chinese leaders pledged to promote the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership their countries in line with the six major orientations, maintain regular high-level exchanges, and strongly boost economic, trade, and investment cooperation.

Judicial cooperation between the two countries—led by their Supreme People's Courts—has been continuously fostered and expanded in various aspects. Building on the cooperation agreement signed in 2018, cooperative activities have increasingly deepened from central to local levels.

Vietnam always welcomes Chinese businesses and investors, especially in high-tech, digital transformation, and sustainable development sectors, said Vietnamese Consul General in Guangzhou Nguyen Viet Dung.

The spokesperson reiterated that Vietnam’s position on China’s fishing ban in the East Sea is consistent and has been repeated many times. The ministry has conducted communications with the Chinese Embassy in Hanoi and handed over a diplomatic note to the Chinese side to oppose this fishing ban, she said.

On behalf of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defence, Chien commended the involved agencies and units for their efforts in preparing and organising the exchange. He stressed the need to continue maintaining border exchanges with China and neighbouring countries, exploring content, forms, and methods of organisation to make future exchanges even more diverse.

Xi Jinping said the visit has further enhanced his confidence in Vietnam’s continued prosperity and the happiness of its people, and reaffirmed his belief that the traditional friendship between China and Vietnam will continue to grow stronger and endure for generations to come.

The activities included a Vietnam-China people’s friendly meeting, the launch of the “Red Journey: Youth’s researches and studies,” the inauguration of a new Vietnam–China railway cooperation mechanism, and a photo exhibition celebrating 75 years of diplomatic ties between the two countries.

The visit has garnered significant attention from the international community as a strategic diplomatic engagement between the two Parties and countries, expected to have a lasting impact on the future of China-Vietnam relations.
