2025 will bring even greater opportunities for cooperation between the two countries, Malaysian Ambassador to Vietnam Dato' Tan Yang Thai said in his recent interview with the Vietnam News Agency.
After more than half a century of diplomatic ties, Vietnam and Malaysia have continually enhanced their bilateral cooperation across a wide range of sectors, including politics, diplomacy, defense, security, economics, and cultural and people-to-people exchanges. The relationship has gained momentum particularly since the two countries upgraded their ties to a Strategic Partnership in 2015.
A workshop to introduce investment opportunities in Vietnam was held on in Kuala Lumpur on July 26, drawing the participation of more than 100 representatives from firms in Malaysia.
Malaysia will consider receiving more skilled Vietnamese labourers and create favourable legal procedures for workers from the country, said Malaysian Foreign Affairs Minister Anifah Aman.
