Vietnam’s rice output is expected to reach 43 million tons in 2024, which is able to ensure domestic consumption and export demand of more than 8 million tons, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Vietnam’s rice output during the winter-spring crop was estimated at 19.1 million tonnes, a year-on-year decrease of 1.5 percent, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
