A cultural festival has been held in Uijeongbu city of the Republic of Korea (RoK)'s Gyeonggi province to mark the 10th anniversary of the Vietnam Women’s Association (VWA) in the country.

A running race around Hoan Kiem Lake kicked off the 6th Mottainai Festival on the morning of October 13 with the participation of representatives from the Vietnam Women’s Association and the Japanese Embassy in Hanoi.

Young women from across the country are encouraged to participate in the national Miss Vietnam 2018 competition, which has just been launched.

The opening of the 12th National Women’s Congress, themed “Solidarity – Renovation – Equality – Integration”, will be televised on March 7 morning at the National Convention Centre in Hanoi.

The Vietnam Women’s Association (VWA) in the Republic of Korea (RoK) convened their second Congress in Seoul on March 4 to review their past activities and launch tasks for the 2017-2018 tenure.
