Hung described the visit as an important milestone, contributing to elevating the Vietnam–Thailand relations to a new height. It will help strongly reinforce political trust and mutual understanding between their leaders, presenting an opportunity to fully review cooperation areas, address obstacles, and agree on major directions and specific measures to create fresh momentum for the bilateral ties.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Thailand Pham Viet Hung laid stress on Vietnam's notable achievements in implementing several SDGs that have earned international recognition, including maternal and child care (under SDG 3), improvements in unpaid care and domestic work for women (under SDG 5), job creation and sustainable GDP growth (under SDG 8), and partnership development for resources mobilisation (under SDG 17).
Vietnamese Ambassador to Thailand Pham Viet Hung had working sessions with the Governors of Trat, Chanthaburi, and Chonburi provinces in eastern Thailand between July 10-12 to discuss measures to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
