Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) Hoang Quang Phong on November 12 urged Vietnamese representative agencies abroad to further support the business community during the process of international economic integration.

Party General Secretary and State President To Lam on October 18 handed over appointment decisions to Vietnamese ambassadors to the United Nations (UN), and Cambodia, Singapore and Ukraine for the 2024-2027 tenure.

In a bid to introduce the beauty of Vietnam’s ancient ao dai, the older version of the country’s traditional dress, as well as traditional cultural values through costumes, Nguyen Duc Loc, a Vietnamese ancient costume researcher, and the ICEP-Hanoi Classy organisation has jointly organised a meeting with diplomats who will be ambassadors in foreign countries.

Six diplomats received appointment decisions on September 20 to serve as ambassadors for the 2019-2022 tenure.

A diplomatic exchange was held from July 12-14 in the Czech Republic under the initiative of Jan Zahradil, head of the EU – Vietnam parliamentarians’ group, and the union of Vietnamese associations in Europe.

Enterprises and business associations have called on Vietnamese ambassadors and trade counsellors abroad to help them promote exports.

Ho Chi Minh City pledges to support and cooperate with new Vietnamese ambassadors and consul generals in developing cooperation with countries around the world.
