Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung inspected the construction of and assessed challenges facing several Vietnamese-invested projects in southern Laos on August 7-8.

Vietnamese and Lao businesses discussed ways to speed up the implementation of large-scale Vietnamese-invested projects in Laos and seek new cooperation projects of strategic importance during a workshop in Vientiane on March 21.

Vietnam and Laos are two neighboring countries that boast a long-standing traditional friendship. Over recent years, hundreds of Vietnamese companies have made investment in Laos.
