The fourth Vietnamese Language Day was held in Ulyanovsk, the birthplace of leader Vladimir Ilyich Lenin, on September 14 by the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia and the Russia-Vietnam Cooperation Support Fund “Tradition and Friendship”.

A ceremony honouring the Vietnamese language took place in Vientiane on September 7, marking a step toward making annual Vietnamese Language Day (September 8) a significant cultural and spiritual mark for the Vietnamese community in Laos.

In celebration of the annual Vietnamese Language Day (September 8) for the overseas Vietnamese community, this year’s programme honouring the mother tongue will be held at the Hanoi Opera House on September 8 evening.
