The Vietnam Trade Office in Canada has introduced the structure of Vietnam’s agricultural products and the potential for cooperation between Vietnamese enterprises with their peers in Alberta province of Canada in farm produce production and processing.

Many of Vietnam’s agricultural products, especially rice, vegetables and cassava, have faced barriers preventing their export to China, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD).

Meeting tougher technical standards in production and preservation is the key to helping Vietnam’s agricultural products, including fruits, actively raise their export volume and value, an official has said.

A Vietnam - the Republic of Korea (RoK) business exchange was held in Hanoi on March 22, aiming to introduce Vietnam’s agricultural products to two major retail firms of the RoK – K-holdings and Coupang.
