The Vietnam Information Security Association (VNISA) on August 7 launched the ASEAN Student Contest on Information Security 2024 with its preliminary and final rounds scheduled to take place in October this year.

Apart from benefits, digital transformation has posed risks of cybersecurity to State agencies and businesses, heard a recent workshop and exhibition on information safety in the southern region.

Vietnam must assert national sovereignty and prosperity on cyberspace and everyone has the responsibility to protect that environment, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung said at the Vietnam Information Security Day 2020 International Conference and Exhibition on December 2.

A workshop, themed “intelligence security in the smart connected world”, opened in Hanoi on December 1, as part of activities marking the Vietnam Information Security Day 2017 event.

The annual "Vietnam Information Security Day" will take place in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City from November 15 – December 2.

An international seminar on information safety is scheduled to take place in Ho Chi Minh City on November 17 and in Hanoi on December 1 on the occasion of Vietnam Information Safety Day.
